Unstar is an iPhone app that uses Western astrology as a mirror of self-image and Eastern non-attachment philosophy to help users reflect on what they can release today.
This Privacy Policy explains what information the app collects, uses, and processes.
The app may use the following information.
The date of birth entered by the user is used to calculate the user’s star profile, such as the sun sign.
It is not used to define or judge the user, but to support the app’s daily readings.
Themes selected by the user, such as love, work, family, self-worth, anxiety, change, recognition, fatigue, or past self, may be used to personalize daily releases and deep readings.
Daily release cards, today’s background, questions, small releases, deep readings, and related generated content may be displayed and saved within the app.
Saved history data is stored locally on the user’s device.
If the user enables morning notifications, the app may use notification settings such as the selected notification time.
Subscription management for the Deep Reading Plan is handled through Apple App Store / StoreKit 2.
The app does not collect or store credit card numbers or payment details.
